I’ve had four job interviews (three by video conference) and they all have one thing in common: they want PJ contract modality. At this point, I begin to doubt, since this modality of contract involves the loss of rights as the INSS and FTGS.
What is right for me? Accept the PJ modality? Require a CLT contract?
Everyone says the same thing: it depends.
According to Icaro Queiroz,
Some simulations carried out by accounting institutions have found:
- An employee who earns up to R$ 1500.00 monthly needs to earn between 60% and 80% more like PJ to match, because the benefits vary from company to company. The percentage decreases as the salary increases.
- For those who earn more than R$ 5000.00 per month, with 35% more like PJ is matched;
- For those who earn more than R$ 10,000.00 per month, a 25% increase would be sufficient.
Either way, it is clear that if I accept the PJ modality, I must be especially careful with the offer.

I am just not necessarily sure if I’m writing this question in the correct place, nevertheless I have recently been planning to start working for a business as an IT consultant. I’ve worked on my own for several yrs, however the work is just not steady enough for me personally. I’ve received a lead for a job and needed to carry out some reasearch on the company before I contacted them. I found a couple of testimonials, but was curious if anybody here has had any knowledge about them or had anything to say. The business is: LTJ Management, LLC at 900 Congress Ave., Suite L-150, Austin, TX 78701 – (512) 895-9500. Thanks for your help
